Shri N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Inaugurates New LiquidHub Facility at DLF SEZ
11th August, 2011, Hyderabad: LiquidHub India, the global delivery centre of US-based LiquidHub, Inc. ramped up its Indian Operations by establishing an SEZ at DLF SEZ Hyderabad.
The LiquidHub SEZ Unit, which has a seating capacity of over 400, was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister Shri N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Honorable Minister for IT & C Shri Ponnala Lakshmiah and Secretary IT & C Shri Sanjay Jaju, I.A.S., were the Guests of Honor. LiquidHub expects to invest approximately Rs 90 million in the SEZ facility over the next 24 to 36 months.
LiquidHub India, the global delivery arm of the company, was established in 2003 and has since grown to over 300 Associates. The Indian operations are based out of Hyderabad and the company was recently appraised at CMMI Level 3. LiquidHub is opening an SEZ unit in Hyderabad to meet the growing demand from new and existing clients in its core verticals of Healthcare, Financial Services and Insurance and Commercial Markets.
"This state-of-art facility will be the engine for the growth and expansion of the global delivery capabilities of the company," said Mr. Naresh Ramdas, Partner Global Consulting for LiquidHub. "LiquidHub's aggressive global growth into new capabilities and competencies including ERP, Cloud Computing, and Mobile Applications are driving demand for a larger workforce. Within the year we expect to exceed 500 associates in the SEZ unit."
Speaking at the occasion, Shri Ponnala Laksmaiah, Minister for IT, said that Hyderabad is a very attractive destination for IT. He further commented that he did not believe that India and China will be affected by recent global financial turmoil, nor will the present political climate will affect the development in the state. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Redy said that the government is doing everything to protect industries and their employees in the state of Andhra Pradesh, with IT being brought under ESMA act. In addition, the Andra Pradesh government is launching a new education scheme, the RAJIV EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT mission, with the aim of integrating education with employment.
