As a highly respected source of information on health and disease prevention, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have a major opportunity on social media. LiquidHub has worked with this healthcare authority to help it use social media to leverage its authoritative voice, to provide accurate information in real time, and establish a connection between the CDC and the public interest that it serves.
We worked with the CDC to develop a social media playbook to assist its communicators in understanding, creating, managing and analyzing the rapid deployment of social media campaigns. It covers everything from effective story creation and dissemination, through measurement and optimization of social campaigns for skin cancer and breast cancer awareness. Today, the framework we provided has proved to be a key part of how the organization approaches messaging for these topics.
